Cio Maingi Candles was born from a desire to make eco-friendly candles more accessible to individuals and businesses interested in candle-making. Somewhere along the way, candles lost their ‘limelight’ as electric bulbs infiltrated our homes. Our customized candle-making kits give you a chance to reconnect with candles in a personal and engaging way.
Each kit contains carefully sourced,environmentally friendly and high-quality materials and includes a customized guidebook that takes you step by step in making candles. Cio Maingi Candles enable you to enjoy the light, enjoy the scent & enjoy the magic.
How it all started...
“Cio Maingi is my great grandmother who lived in the Mt.Kenya region during the late 1800s. She was a fiery woman who once broke free from chains set by the colonizers( both literally & figuratively). We have created this brand to keep her legacy alive, honor her beauty & intellect and share her unquenchable fire – pun intended – with you.”
